Apprenticeship Program
The Apprenticeship program will give you the skills and confidence to be successful as an Account Executive in the exciting and dynamic media industry. You will contribute daily to the success of advertiser’s and your own financial security.
As one of the few chosen for our Apprenticeship program, you will participate in a 12-month formal training series, instructed by some of the best minds in the media business, and get on-the-job experience through our internal Mentoring program.
The program kicks-off with a four month Accelerated Training, developed by Chris Beck and Clear Channel University.
You will also participate in instructor-lead courses based on traditional and innovative sales concepts. Every course will incorporate sound tactics to help you execution what you learn.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect, market, sell and service advertising air time and non-traditional revenue events and internet assets.
- Negotiate business based on industry ratings and conceptual sale in order to maximize station revenue and share within parameters set by station management.
- Develop new advertisers by soliciting area businesses and monitoring competitive media to develop account list from various sources.
- Service clients to maintain positive working relationships.
- Prepare sales orders and production requests in timely manner.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and assist in collections of past due accounts.
- Provide regular reports to Sales Managers regarding prospective sales orders, daily call sheets, itineraries, new prospect lists, forecasts, and competition analysis.
- Conceive and execute written proposals.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
· Background in sales preferred.
· Outstanding marketing/presentation skills.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Computer literate.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Must have own vehicle with a valid drivers license and state mandated auto insurance.
Education:
· College education preferred.
